Upcoming Performing Arts Offerings
Dive into the art of dance with professional dance artists!
Be sure to sign up for the DiRT & Glitter newsletter at the bottom of the page to be the first to know when you can save your spot in these amazing FREE experiences for youth in Del Norte & adjacent tribal lands!
Past offerings include: vertical dance camps, master classes, dance exchanges, community performances and more!
Check out the video from last year’s Redwood Dance Exchange, where youth dancers from Del Norte and Mendocino County in Northern California participated in the Redwood Dance Exchange. In this week-long exchange, they learned vertical dance among the redwoods, working together to create a final performance.
The Redwood Dance Exchange was part of DiRT & Glitter's Youth Art and Adventure Program, in collaboration with the Mendocino Dance Project, and was supported by the Yurok Tribe's Klamath Promise Neighborhood Initiative.

Learn the art of putting on and creating a professional performance—and get paid to do so! DiRT & Glitter is seeking youth dancers, choreographers, poets, musicians, singers and storytellers to join us in creating—and performing—an original production that we will share at our Redwood Roots community celebration in July*!
This production will weave together the work of young artists and performers and professionals.
