Spring & Summer Visual Art offerings

In addition to weekly classes offered at Castle Rock School, youth can create all spring & summer long with Jessica! Learn about two of the opportunities below...and stay tuned for even more ways to make art this year!

Youth Visual Art Classes

Create nature-themed 3D art pieces for our July Redwood Roots Community Celebration!

All classes are FREE for youth living in Del Norte & Adjacent Tribal Lands!

To register for the May classes, please contact Jessica at cherrywildandfree@gmail.com. June classes are provided to participants at the Boys & Girls Club with no pre-registration necessary.

Electric Box Painting

Come stretch, move, play and create in community at the AWC Community Center in Klamath!

Movement & Making: A community gathering
Saturday, May 9, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
At the AWC Community Center
(225 Klamath Blvd., Klamath, CA)
Free for all ages! Open to community living in Del Norte & adjacent tribal lands

Join local yoga instructor Paulina Sanchez and crafter Co Conway for a session of getting into your body and creating something fun in community!

This FREE community offering is open to all ages & skill levels! 

No registration required!

Call for instructors!

A paid opportunity to share your skills with community at Movement & Making!

Do you have experience teaching art, a traditional craft or a movement modality like yoga, dance or strength training that you'd like to share with your community in Klamath?

DiRT & Glitter is seeking community members to facilitate sessions at Movement & Making, our free monthly community gathering at AWC Community Center in Klamath!

Gatherings typically include an hour-long movement session, followed by another hour of making (if your craft needs longer to complete, please let us know) on Saturdays. Facilitators will be reimbursed for material costs, as well as receiving a $150 instructor fee.
